Four astronauts are about to travel farther from Earth than any humans in history. NASA’s Artemis II mission will send the Orion spacecraft around the Moon for the first crewed lunar flight in over 50 years, testing the Space Launch System rocket, deep-space life support, and heat shield systems that will pave the way for a permanent human return to the lunar surface and future missions to Mars.

I guess they are not landing on the moon. From what I can find out the astronauts will be about 5000 miles farther from earth than anybody in history.
