Aryna could play only one seeded player on her way to the final. Only Mirra could beat Sabalenka on grass but even then looks like Aryna is the Wimbeldon 2025 champ the way she’s playing

Sabalenka has had a cake walk draw and it continues… easiest title grab ever?
That girl looks so out of place. Immature vouce and lame obvious cliched statements. Zero insight. I guess the price you pay for diversity rules at workplace. For the record, Chanda Rubin was so darn good!
I wouldn’t underestimate Siegemund. Keep in mind what Vondrousova did to Sabalenka in Berlin (6-2, 6-4). I’m not convinced Aryna is really immune to Laura’s game.
I hope so as I will be rooting for Laura in this one but Vondrousova is in another category in singles, she is a lefty which gives her an advantage off the bat, she is a better mover and has better offensive shots than Laura. Lets see, but Sabalenka puts so much pressure on the opponent and she will be hungrier than in Berlin, tough ask to beat her anywhere really.
@Keepcalm-lovesports What we’ve seen is that Laura’s top level is incredible. Certainly good enough to beat Aryna today. Laura’s problem is inconsistency. And in the end it showed she isn’t used to playing 3 hour singles matches .
@Harrokacharro Missed it, I was at work. How was the match, did you watch by any chance?
@Keepcalm-lovesports Yes, the first set was the best I’ve ever seen from Laura. I think Aryna admitted she was outplayed. Even in the third Laura was up a break twice (3-1 and 4-3). What a pity. I would have liked her chances against Amanda as well.
@Harrokacharrocaught up on some highlights, damn she could have gotten that third set as well. With Aryna out the draw would have been wide open and Laura would have had an immense boost of confidence. Nice match nonetheless
