George Pino’s defense lawyer began his opening statement Monday afternoon. They claim that Pino did not intend to hurt anyone that day and that he would never have put the young girls’ lives in jeopardy. Pino is accused of killing 17-year-old Lucy Fernandez while he was operating a boat. His lawyers stated that he tried to save Lucy and got her from under the boat, but his rescue efforts failed.

How is 22 moms and dads gave permission to their minor children to attend a party boat cruising in deep water with the adult male captain consuming alcohol AND the minors ALSO consuming alcohol up to 10 alcoholic drinks for the one girl that testified…. I’m completely blown away… Is that a thing nowadays? What i”m i missing here?
We know it wasn’t intentional … it was reckless and negligent.

Regardless, mr.pino was not paying attention and crashed the boat resulting in the death of Lucy. Being drunk or not, he was NOT safely driving the boat. He was going 47 and not paying attention to the water or what was in his path. The water was calm, no wind. Negligence and comfortability caused him to crash.. he is guilty.. too busy trying to be the “cool parent” and having his own fun, that he wasnt worried or concerned at all with his surroundings and the kids left in his care.
I’m glad he has such idiots for his defense team😂he had to be told two times by a friend to ck under the boat!!!!!!! While he was holding on his capsized murder boat saving himself Lucy was under his boat drowning 😢what a selfish piece of fake crying ass….. when he’s making his “distraught “ face it looks like he is trying to take a 💩!!!!!!!!!!
