    Wow, how ridiculous is that? If she has to return the medal, all the judges should be fired and never allowed to be an Olympic judge again.

13. Who had a stopwatch timing the 1:04 minutes to make this decision? This is a travesty, and I wouldn’t doubt that this was invented by the Olympic Committee, since the judges accepted the appeal at the time. It wasn’t Jordan Chiles’ fault that the judges made the mistake! She rightfully won the Bronze medal, and judges should have used the right score in the first place! Shame on the IOC for making such a decision? Can this decision be appealed 4 days later, like the Romanian appeal?

14. The reporting is lying by omission. Romania filed two suits: one from Ana Barbosu, one from Sabrina Voinea. Sabrina’s referred to being wrongly penalized for an OB she did not commit. Without the judges’ mistake, Sabrina would have scored higher than Jordan, even with the revised score.The CSA analyzed Sabrina’s evidence and admitted that she was wrongly penalized, but rejected her appeal for the same reason they rejected the South Korean gymnast’s appeal: not establishing a precedent when a routine is re-judged in a court of law. Ana’s appeal was simpler: procedure infringement, and it was easier for the judges to go along with that. The American media doesn’t say a word about the other appeal which practically shows that the medal never truly belonged to Jordan! They keep pretending everything was just about those 4 seconds. No, it is not about those 4 seconds, it’s about Sabrina being misjudged in the first place, and Jordan claiming a medal which never truly belonged to her.
