Somebody answer this question why do planes don’t have parachutes
For non pilots here: A stall is NOT about the aircraft’s engines. An aerodynamic stall occurs when a wing(s) stops generating lift. Lift is generated by differential air pressure above and below the wing surfaces. A stall can occur for many reasons but by definition all stalls involve a disruption of the laminar airflow over the wing. A stall can occur on one wing or both wings simultaneously. A stall can occur at any any airspeed any bank angle. In general operating conditions (envelope) an aircraft has a specified stall (V) speed: V stall =
All pilots practice stall/spins until they are blue in the face. I know I did.
It’s been a while since I’ve flown but happy to have comments adding specifics or please correct me if I remember this wrong.
Can someone remind me why it’s 2024 and passenger planes still dont have emergency systems that can deploy parachutes and float the cabin to safety?
I hope the figure out how to prevent this if possible my condolences to all families very tragic.
Gods blessing and prayers for the souls lost and their families 🙏
Looks like the Harris/Wala campaign!

many of us will be able to see (from the attitude of the plane) that the pilot was trying to correct the spin but ran out of height quickly. If he had 10,000 feet below them, he/she may have been able to recover 🙁 So sad. I can really visualize those last moments for the pilot. I’m a student pilot and glider pilot and lifelong aviation enthusiast. It looks to me like he is trying to nose in and roll, but having very little effect. I think that spin may have not begun very long before we see it. Also, try to imagine the centrifugal force being experienced in that plane. the rate of rotation is crazy fast. they would be experiencing a hell of a lot more than 5G’s. I’m surprised pieces of the plane weren’t falling off like trim tabs or control surfaces. I can’t help but wonder if one of those engines was incorrectly feathered.
For anyone who mocks our fear of flying, saying “planes don’t just fall out of the sky.” This!
there were several doctors going to a conference 😢😢
Looks like an ATR-72 plane they can be a little tricky to fly sometimes.
God bless all the souls aboard that plane. And May God be with the Family, Friends and your Country as you all deal with this Difficult Time. Our Prayers are with you All.
very similar to crash in 1994 near Roselawn, IN where an ATR-72 went down due to ice
Small plane? Get these women off stage. 62 people is not a small flight. These idiots needs to not speak on air further.
100% pilot error
How many people out those are bullying people?
telemetry shows them flying smoothly at 17,000 feet. Then a sharp dive down follow by a pull up nearly straight up till it lost all airflow, their had to be some sort of mechanical malfunction. It had slowed to 27 kts. Also that plane has a built in mechanism where if it gets into a stall like that it will force the planes nose over, clearly that did not happen. I think some other mechanical failure prevented it from recovering, no idea what.
My heart goes out to the loved ones of those who perished. And you show the video.
the most disturbing thing about this video is that the person recorded the sidewalk
Disturbing? How?
