fun fact kamala harris not only refused to reduce the unprecedented but she also pushed for even more incarceration in California for years, to the point where over 50 people were to a toilet in one prison and when people in these types of conditions became suicidal they put them in a telephone booth sized lockup for 24 hours. She wanted to keep prisoners past their sentencing release dates for sake of labor as well.
