Josie Dikeman is accused of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 6-year-old Alexavier Pedrin. Authorities say Dikeman called 911 in February 2023 when the child was unresponsive, and an autopsy later revealed he died from blunt force trauma, with a sedative also contributing. Investigators allege a history of abuse, with witnesses reporting repeated violence and prior medical concerns, including a suspicious femur fracture, before his death. Dikeman was reportedly dating the child’s father at the time of the little boy’s death. She faces life in prison if convicted.

She may have been battered in someway. But what makes no sense to me is if she says that Alex was favored by Derek, I would think he would be his last choice of children to murder. I also do not believe that she was so fearful of Derek as she had no problem giving him attitude in all of the videos. I did not hear any kind of fear in her voice.
I didn’t think that poorly of the judge but the defense attorney… he is killing me with acting so bored with all the sighs through his questioning. 😮💨😒

Worthless cross examination. This stupid incompetent prosecutor isnt proving anything. He’s not even talking about the victim! If I was on the jury I’da acquitted her in 10 minutes.
Whoever told her to take medications that were making her high was not a very good idea. Twice it looked like she was falling asleep.
It’s incredible. Every difficult question seems to trigger amnesia, and every friendly question triggers total recall.
The defence keeps objecting, and the judge keeps saying, ‘Don’t worry, I’ve got this. 🤦🏼♀️
The judge’s dedication to impartiality is inspiring. No matter how much help the defence receives, he never lets it affect his willingness to give them more. 😏
