A Michigan man broke down in court as he was sentenced to at least 30 years in prison for killing his best friend on his wedding night. James Shirah, 24, had pleaded no contest to multiple charges after fatally striking 29-year-old Terry Lewis Taylor Jr. with his vehicle following a fight at his wedding celebration. Prosecutors said Shirah drove off, returned moments later to hit Taylor, then fled the scene and didn’t contact police until the next day.

Some times intentional murderers get less than 30 years. I will never understand the world i live in. I don’t believe he should skip out the door today. but damn, can we not get some more aligned understandable prison lengths.
