Josie Dikeman is accused of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 6-year-old Alexavier Pedrin. Authorities say Dikeman called 911 in February 2023 when the child was unresponsive, and an autopsy later revealed he died from blunt force trauma, with a sedative also contributing. Investigators allege a history of abuse, with witnesses reporting repeated violence and prior medical concerns, including a suspicious femur fracture, before his death. Dikeman was reportedly dating the child’s father at the time of the little boy’s death. She faces life in prison if convicted.

I bet you that lawyer acts just like that outside of the courtroom. I bet he has those same body mannerisms and heavy breathing and treats people the same way. While listening to him questioning the witness, a poor waitress in a restaurant came to mind. I’m glad he is not a member of my family because I would tell him to go to hell in a heartbeat.

I see MORE THAN ENOUGH evidence to charge Derrick right along with her… They are both unfit monsters. I have seen others mention this and I feel the same exact way: It really looks like the prosecutors actively assisted Derrick in putting all of the blame on Josie, to cover up their own mishaps in the interactions leading up to Alex’s death
(which of course he ate the opportunity right up).

I think they had to do this because they chose to wait (and come back) to arrest him on that no contact order that night. Imagine how things may be different had they taken him right then and there (at the wellness check)…

I’m still not convinced that they BOTH didn’t attack Alex that night in a drug/alcohol induced rage because law enforcement was “there for him”. I can absolutely see them BOTH becoming belligerent and taking it out on that poor sweet child, who in their warped view was to blame…

I think the state realized they messed up by not obtaining and arresting Derrick on the spot so they shoved all the blame onto Josie. Even worse so, they *tried* to make Derrick out to be the “poor heartbroken father who lost his son to a crazy woman”… Nah. We see the truth. BOTH OF THEM should be in prison for life.

I mean how did you not stop all of this rampant abuse to you son? In all those times you were arrested or being filmed and talking about taking her to court – You never once brought up Alex’s treatment at her own hands?? Oh wait, I know why – it’s because you were apart of it. You knew that if you outed her then she would out you too. And hey – It’s fine to let everyone know you’re a woman beater all day long, but can’t have them knowing you beat the kids too. You found that out the hard way at the birthday party – you know the one where you pushed a sweet little girl off a ride toy and some *real men* got a hold of you?

I completely believe that he also physically/verbally/mentally abused Alex and that’s why he was so complacent in Josie doing so as well.

I’m absolutely appalled that Derrick was able to obtain custody of his children following this incident – With not even a mention of classes, treatment, intense scrutiny from outside agencies… anything… He never even said “I’m sorry” or “I should’ve been there for my son” or “I should’ve taken them away from that situation/her”….

It is sickening what the justice system will do to cover up and protect their shortcomings. Rather than ADMITTING their own faults and trying to truthfully make up for it. Derrick should be right there with her! Let both of them rot in prison! Those children would be better off without both of them.

    Rest in peace, Alex ❤

The defense lawyer should really stop panting and moaning. Is it like a medical condition of him or what. At every answer he is panting and moaning that could be interpreted as frustration.
