John Carpenter is a GD legend. This music fits so well with the film. This is in my top 5 favorite film of his—obviously The Thing is no. 1.
This must be the movie where liberals got their idea of how a suppressed weapon sounds.
I watched this yesterday, casually at first, then riveted. I woke up thinking about it this morning. It was really great.
THis level of directing is truly a lost art, and his other movies are (imo) even better! I will never get over how much money is wasted in hollywood producing a flop, when stuff like this has been around for decades.
