🍕BRILLIANT NEW HD RESTORATION🍕
Written and directed by pioneering filmmaker Frances Marion, this restored classic showcases Mary Pickford in one of her most emotionally layered roles, highlighting her range beyond her earlier ingénue persona. Frances Marion, one of Hollywood’s most influential early screenwriters and directors, brings a nuanced perspective to this World War I–era story. The principal cast includes Mary Pickford, Raymond Bloomer, and Albert Austin, contributing to a compelling and heartfelt cinematic experience.
Set in an Italian fishing village during World War I, the story follows Angela (Mary Pickford), a devoted young woman who falls in love with a mysterious stranger. As war tensions rise, Angela must confront difficult truths about love, loyalty, and sacrifice when she discovers her husband may not be who he claims to be. The film blends romance and drama with themes of patriotism and personal integrity.

Demon: What an excellent day for an exorcism.
Father Karras: You would like that?
Demon: Intensely.
Father Karras: But wouldn’t that drive you out of Regan?
Demon: It would bring us together.
Father Karras: You and Regan?
Demon: You and us. 1973 classic the exorcist 😊
again, the undisputed First Lady of Filmdom, the incomparable Mary Pickford ❤❤❤. yesterday today and tomorrow…. always❤ thank you Pizza 🎬🎥🎞️💖🧓🧓🧓🧓🧓
I was wondering where you were 🍕
@PizzaFLIX just a little late… ❤🍾🥂🧓
She was pure genius and knew how to make the most of what she had. What a joy!
A good story, well told. The look is excellent, even in the sections with not the best source material. Pickford, as always, leads the show with a fine performance. The other story is in the end credits; how much work and time were spent in restoring a broken, disintegrated in places and incomplete 105-year-old film back to what it was in 1921. Credit also to all those who made Mary look her best, once again.
I cried a lot! There’s the heart wrenching movie itself, then the amazing restoration work done to make it look like new again 100 years later, and everyone so full of life & yet they are now all gone from this life. And thinking about the agonies of war, and yet war seems to be a compulsory part of human life, according to our governments. Sigh, anyway, thanks for uploading this gem ✨💎✨
MAKING MOVIES MAGNIFICENT AGAIN! Eloquently acted by Mary Pickford in this film! So, thanks, Pizzaflix! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I admire your channel and your movies, very much!
