1 in 3 New Web Pages Is Now Written by AI — Pew Research Confirms It | Kat Curtis 0 (0)

A brand new study just confirmed what a lot of us have been quietly sensing for a while — the internet is increasingly not written by humans. The Pew Research Center analyzed nearly 490,000 English-language web pages from the Common Crawl archive, spanning the five years between January 2021 and July 2026. What they found is striking. Thirty-five percent of all web pages published since ChatGPT launched in November 2022 show significant signs of AI authorship or heavy AI editing.
