Even with his long white beard and aching back, an aging Donald still has to make ends meet by lancing trash in the park. Donald the apple farmer notices his apples have been nibbled on and catches Chip n’ Dale in the act. In the ensuing battle, Donald uses a helicopter to spray them (but they have tiny gas masks). And then he brings in the really heavy artillery. Apple farmer Donald Duck is out to harvest, and notices that the apple crop in the area has been eaten. Gardener Donald spots bees in his garden and follows them back to the hive in search of honey. The bee guarding the hive won’t let him in, so Donald disguises himself as a bee. Donald Duck is enjoying a normal summer day by tending his garden when suddenly bees infiltrate his garden. Following the bees back to their hive, Donald realizes that they are using the flower’s nectar to create honey. Donald Duck has a model train and town laid out in his yard. He decides to move a live tree that doesn’t match the model scale, not realizing it is home to chipmunks Chip and Dale. They in turn move into one of the miniature houses. The short begins with a shot of a mighty steam locomotive barreling down the track, which is actually a miniature scale model, with Donald Duck conducting it around an intricate setup in his back yard.
