Well, if you want to match the success of this channel it’s pretty easy. Just do the following:
1) Start an independent film production and distribution company along with 3 individuals with extensive experience in film production.
2) Spend the next 12 years highlighting powerful independent films in a wide range of genres through distribution and a number of high-end contracts through the connections you’ve made in your years of film development.
3) Have a film catalog that includes 55 Oscar nominations, 16 Oscar wins, and nominations and wins from other major industry awards to draw additional attention to your studio.
4) Score the distribution of a moody horror thriller written and directed by a director who made their name with similar experimental pieces over the course of 12 years.
5) Use a minute or two of footage from that film in a loop to create an accompanying video for one of the songs from the movie’s soundtrack.
Once you’ve done all of that, you should be able to easily replicate the reach and reception of this video and the overall following of this channel. Easy!

this style of music is very oversaturated. saccharine guitar with barely above a whisper vocals. would have been novel in like 2012, does absolutely nothing for me now
nonsense, new music doesn’t have to be novel. Whatever you listen can be timeless. It only depends on your perception, not on societal.

i just find it to all sound samey and dated. my general rule of thumb is that if pop music is currently doing it, indie artists were doing it better 10 years prior
