Lifelong UConn fan, born and raised here by two alums, but I went to MSU. I can’t tell you how awesome it feels that these two coaches, teams, fanbases respect each other.
Love Izzo, but the section of the interview that asked him to opine on the last 10 seconds of Duke/UConn was guarded. It was the “coaching fraternity” allowing him to pull his punches. Duke absolutely didn’t “do everything right”! You can’t shower praise on Scheyer without making him accountable for his kids messing up the last 2 min like they did.

Tom Izzo is a great coach and class act.
Listen that coach for Duke had a timeout. He knew he had five underclassmen on the court. He knew Uconn had 4/5 upperclassmen out there. He had a timeout to give and he didn’t use it and that’s the reason they lost. You cannot put it on Cayden AT ALL imo
