Joe Biden: “No-one is pushing me out” of race for White House | BBC News 4

Joe Biden has insisted he will be the Democrat candidate for President in November, telling campaign staff: “no-one is pushing me out, I’m not leaving”.

It follows growing pressure within his party for Mr Biden to step aside, following his poor performance in a TV debate with Donald Trump last week.

Some senior Democrats are now openly calling for Mr Biden to withdraw from the campaign and allow an alternative candidate to face Donald Trump in the presidential election.

Jane Hill presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Sarah Smith in Washington.

  1. It’s nice to see female journalists who haven’t had plastc surgery. Fox should try hiring women with more brains than boobs.

  2. “No-one is pushing me out” Indeed, and there’s a serious fault in the US political structure right there. It’s no different from a banana republic with el presidente elected for life.
