Chefs Spank and News are Trap Kitchen, two culinary entrepreneurs from the South Central neighborhood of Los Angeles who’ve skyrocketed to success from their humble beginnings selling street food to their empire of food trucks, restaurants, cookbooks, and more.
Trap Kitchen takes MUNCHIES on a late-night food tour of their stomping grounds around South Central to show off a lesser-seen side of Los Angeles food culture: from a 33-year old Black owned taco spot, to one of their favorite local Jamaican restaurants, to Inglewood’s first Black-owned wine bar, and finally a late-night brunch spot serving up everything they need after a long night of drinking.
