Tom Cruise wowed audiences at the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony with a spectacular stunt that closed out the event in style. The “Mission: Impossible” star leaped from the top of Stade de France, landing on the field to receive the Olympic flag from LA Mayor Karen Bass and gold medalist Simone Biles. He then sped through Paris on a motorcycle and boarded a plane near the Eiffel Tower. A pre-recorded video showed Cruise flying the flag to the U.S. and skydiving onto the Hollywood sign, where he adorned it with Olympic rings. TMZ revealed earlier that Cruise, 62, had pitched this grand stunt idea to the International Olympic Committee. Known for his love of the Olympics, Cruise had previously carried the torch in 2004 and recently cheered for Team USA. The Olympics also featured star-studded performances from Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and a moving comeback by Celine Dion, making for an unforgettable event.
