Let’s be honest, they didn’t pick Jaylen Brown for the same reason they didn’t pick Kyrie. Guys that make political statements that are against America’s agenda will not be picked. It’s that simple.
I like the pick. Derick White was picked because he is one of the best complimentary players ever. He doesn’t need to score a lot. They don’t need scorers, they need players that compliment the others and no one does that better than Derrick White. Is jaylen brown a better player, without a doubt, but that’s not what they were looking for. Either way jaylen brown wouldn’t have been bad either.
