A variety show with 4 acts from the early 1940s. 1) Three Winter Sisters: Three girls doing dancing gymnastics. 2) The Glenn Miller Modernaires: A singing group of four men and a woman. 3) Andy Mayo presents Pansy the horse (2 guys in a horse costume) 4) Finally Reg Kehoe and his Marimba Queens: A marimba-based musical group active from the late 1930s to the mid-1950s.
Vivid History is dedicated to restoring old black and white footage and creating high-quality colorized versions to give you an authentic and vivid experience of the past.
The video has been restored and colorized using state-of-the-art machine learning methods.
The restoration steps included:
– motion stabilization
– noise reduction
– colorization
– frame interpolation for increased FPS
– upscaling to 4K
– adding ambient sound
