The Onion’s pop-culture-focused sister publication, The A.V. Club, is debuting a new weekly video series called “Inventory,” based on its popular lists of the same name.
You’ve heard that Jesus is the reason for the season, right? It’s easy to forget Him when confronted with what we like to call “Morally dubious holiday entertainments.” These are the seasonal greetings that dilute or ignore messages of hope and peace normally associated with the holidays. In other words, if your favorite holiday movie is Home Alone, you’re kind of a sicko. Read the full-length Inventory, originally published in 2007, here:
@kachekieran I might give you the time of day, but it’s clear you fail at communicating as an intelligent individual. Hence, it is clear you are not worth my time. Good day.
@trailersic Agreed
I always hated that Bain Aid song.
Do they know it’s christmas? (In fucking Africa?)
Why the hell should they? Is my normal response.
Why does everyone have to be christian?
The song might as well be: Do they know their hethons after all??
whoa, the woman popped out of nowhere
@mekman4 I know what you mean, if they remade that that movie today, the ending would show the criminals suing the family and winning.
@bohnstube lol u mad
wow… was this supposed to be funny?? lol
this video was just so stupid its hard to believe they were trying to be funny… either way though.. the 3 people in this video just loook soo stupid

Best. Montage. EVER!
i always thought that was a terrible song; my mom however failed to see the problem and loved to sing it whenever we passed a group of homeless people in our mercedes. true story
Don’t forget “Let It Snow”. It’s all about a guy who gets to bone his girl cuz the weather’s too harsh to leave.
@aaron4820 Yah; no I think it’s just that these three actually just missed the obvious dripping sarcasm of the line on that last one. Complete even with saying the *songwriters* were stupid. Yah, you’d think. Probably no irony here, because it’s not really very funny. Well, at least not to those of us that missed blatant sarcasm and patted themselves on the back for it 😉
So “Bad Santa” was nowhere on the list?
Can you just sub to “Inventory as a show, and not the Onion ?
morally reprehensible or not The Christmas All-Stars H.A.M. on that track.
lmao!
@DereksDiscourse well some shows you can some you cant
it’s like you are suggesting that those movies and songs should be censored.. NOTHING SHOULD EVER BE CENSORED. kids know about sex, they know how the world works better then us at times. you can’t keep them in a box forever. they probably already know about everything while you are trying to censor them. YOUR TOO LATE!!
Oh one more thing, Most people in the world DON’T celebrate Christmas. Its a Western European holiday that made its way to North America with the people who moved there from places like England. Its kinda selfish to go on and on about your own holiday when talking about people who don’t celebrate it, that never happens with Chinese newyears or Octoberfest. Most Africans likely can’t sing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer off by heart like we can.
‘Tonight thank god it’s them instead of you’ – think he missed the irony there.
Basically the three wisemen of modern christmas are a sadistic little boy, a gold digging santa fucker and rock stars who sing before they think.
@HWGuyEG, Idk who watches that around christmas (not really about/during Christmas) but it’s based is on a classic French novel so…yeah.
