It’s Riku time. Sorry for taking so long, but we’re finally here. Really proud of myself for getting the video that starts with wishing myself a happy birthday out only two weeks after my birthday actually was!!!

He really is Citan Uzuki. I’m glad someone else made the comparison. With the artbook even confirming he is a lying arsehole, it seems your video was on point!
I’m not sure why Riku would lie. Since there isn’t a clear reason for him to lie so much, I would guess we have a puzzle piece in the wrong place. I’m starting to think that Melia wasn’t his masterpon, but rather the master of his masterpon. Afterall, I don’t think he would call a non-nopon a “-pon”, eliminating the idea that Melia would be called a “Masterpon”. So potentially a lot of these lies could be explained by him not knowing as much as we thought and mistaking him for his masterpon.
This was my first time seeing your face! IDK what i expected you to look like, but i’m glad to report that after only hearing your voice for a long time, i can say that your voice definitely matches your face! 😅😁
Takahashi’s comment on Riku just cements this common variety Nopon as a big fat liar. 😂
Moooooom this man made me cry in a video about a talking blue potato
1:22:00 Face reveal.
@1:21:51 Oblivion NPC jump scare
Riku and Manana is a better relationship than any interlink pair aside from Noah and Mio. Either of Lanz or Sena would be better suited for Eunie than Taion
I like how monolith turns around and hands us (some of) the answers like a week after you upload this.
Ah yes, We shall push this counter to infinity due to Artbook, thx
Common variety video my ass!
1:22:39 Getting massive Bill Hader vibes
“After you watch the video” luxin you motherfucker it’s almost 2 hours
Riku maybe just common variety Nopon. But what is exactly a Nopon? 🤔
The most mysterious race.
I always assumed the “hair” was a hat, since it’s included as part of the Yumsmith class costume. Maybe he’s bald under there and sensitive about it. That’s why he never takes it off, even to go swimming.
Riku wasn’t annoyed when Nia calls ouroboros and lucky seven gimmicks because he says something similar during his comin variety Nopon speech. The gimmicks won’t do anything to defeat Moebius but they can break people out of the cycle so they have a chance to choose if they want time to move or not
Please do a video on N and M
riku’s hair is just peak
Monolith working on Xenosaga again will NEVER happen.
NEVER.
Especially by including Xenoblade as part of Xenosaga’s canon.
For 3 rock hard reasons:
1-Xenosaga is owned by Bandai. Monolith is owned by Nintendo. Monolith is a corner stone of a lot of Nintendo projects, and it has been for years. They also produce the third, finally succesful, Takahashi’s attempt at writing this kind of story exclusively for Nintendo.
2-There’s no way Nintendo will ever allow for them to work on a project owned by someone else, let alone tie one of its succesful new IPs (compared to Mario or Zelda, Xenoblade is still an infant) to a flop long dead. It would mean, even if succesful, basically accepting Bandai as a co-owner of the Xenoblade series. Nintendo will never allow that. It would assassinate Xenoblade. Make it a spin off to an historically bad flop. Make them the owners of a “lesser version” of a flop. It would make hard for the Xenoblade series to go on, later, on its own. It’s marketing suicide.
3-Soraya Saga wants nothing to do with the videogame industry ever again and she’s been adamant on this stance for almost 20 years. She has her career and her job away from one of the most traumatic humiliations she ever faced. And Saga was choke full of her influence. It was her child as much as it was Takahashi’s child. There’s no Xenosaga without her. XENOBLADE is Xenosaga without her.
Also, Xenoblade is far from over.
Maybe a remaster, with some participation from Monolith as consultants.
Nothing more.
Fantastic work!
