Krejcikova misses a lot of opportunities to finish points, she needs to be more agressive. So many points she could finish at the net by simply not playing where the opponent is…
I love and support both the ATP and WTA tours. But the leaders of the WTA need to send a memo to players about how awful it looks to see so many players actively being nasty to Zheng. It has become the “trendy” thing to do – to actively search for reasons not to like Zheng and display coldness towards her. On an international level, the optics look TERRIBLE! I would be shocked and disappointed if something isn’t said before the 2025 season. (This handshake from Krejcikova was awful).
After COCO GAUFF 2.0’s victory over Queenwen and the tournament, she’s going after Barbora. Next time, the story will be different.
