Everything is free, Sharing is caring. Money, Bills, and any talk about finances are for puppets to the system… It is unfortunate that we are being held back from magic. Notice all of the corruption and waste going on… We can have no limits at all if we take our time… There are a lot of stupid people out here but look… Money & Bills are tied to each other in Gematria equating to 666. Coincidence? I think not. We can truly live without money… but yeah the time gates are insane to me. They set all of this up from the bible, money, etc. Education is free.

@lxbeeb this is the podcast..
Oh I feel so bad for Nick Tyson here.
I was cringing.
This is the way to torture scientists
I have always assumed that if I was thinking or doing something millions people were thinking or doing the same thing.
Sometimes you’re so smart you’re stupid. That is neil on this topic. AGi will be the best driver, surgeon, ems, tax accountant, scientists, chemist, engineer, painter, etc. Why would i want a human doing this if they arent the best? At that point what is the point of the human?
I love how Google NotebookLM can take all my research sources for a topic and create a podcast I can listen to while doing dishes or cleaning or going for a walk etc.
What a really bad and tone deaf take from Neil Tyson, because if we apply his logic why artists complain about AI is because their job got affected by it, then it means his job isn’t affected that’s why he doesn’t feel any urgency to complain about that.
If his job also affected, for sure he’s also gonna complain, just as he said. He is belittling somebody’s concern just because he doesn’t share the similar experience, or at least not yet.
AI stole data from artists to train them without permission, and here’s he is trying to make it sound as if it’s insignificant issue. Remind you Neil, you got famous because you also work in the entertainment industry telling about science and stuff. Plenty of entertainment industry workers are against AI, their jobs are at stake, the same people who give you a chance and made you famous so you can be invited to a podcast like this. If someday that role taken from you, your voice trained by AI without your permission, will you still have the same opinion like this or feel that it’s disrespectful to you?
And also, the role of the companies is not only to earn capital but they also have social and humanity duty by providing job. That’s what a good company is, and it helps build a civilized society, meanwhile the drive of AI development from company today is to decrease their hiring. It’s fact and not a sentimental thing, and it’s freaky you are on AI’s side than humanity side, the one that actually providing you job and money like you have today.
It’s a real lack of empathy of you to say these stuff, and you made it as if it’s logical and the one who’s against it not using their logic, meanwhile what you said here all your opinion and bias.
I have heard too many bad takes from you and you delivered it way too confident, if you are truly smart, please take time to reflect and learn more about things in the world from various perspectives and contribute to a really meaningful discovery, instead of seeking for easy money from entertainment jobs (like this podcast) that you belittle by talking about your biased opinion.
Great interview. Drumps address found in the pockets of fossil fuel billionaires explains the cuts to climate research and renewable energy. But from a simply capitalistic view, destroying government funded research is going to kill americas competitiveness in literally everything.
All the other semantics and what-ifs about AI aside, that part about ‘getting creative and finding something that AI can’t do” as an answer to the question of how to cope with white collar displacement? Yeah that’s the most enragingly glib and dismissive take on the problem I can think of. Everyone in my generation got conned with the brainwashing of “go to college to learn how to do work with your mind that they can’t automate so you don’t have to suffer the misery of having to work with your hands for a company who’ll pay nothing while trying to replace you with a robot” during their formative years. At the urging and pressuring of all the “mature adults” in their lives, most of them incurred a SUBSTANTIAL debt to learn “specialized skills” that were “automation proof” only to graduate with a crippling financial burden in the way of rent and home ownership, which even adjusted for inflation are insanely higher than the costs their parents and grandparents faced at their age, WITHOUT said student debt in the way. And what does the generation that told them “don’t be a blue collar sucker, go to college” do now that they’re in a bind? Cynically call their own kids and their cohorts lazy, wasteful and stupid for bowing to the pressure THEY APPLIED TO THEM to go to school at massive cost because they heard it from a fucking talking head at FOX or a podcaster are making easy, lazy money peddling the age old “the problem with kids nowadays” shtick for likes and ad dollars.
So my question to Neil is: what resources are millennials, Gen Y and Z going to expend to discover these magical new AI-proof industries and hone their skills in them?
I’m pretty sure I know the what sort of “solutions” are coming down the pike for that problem–and the cure is worse than the disease.
I ain’t gonna lie, I almost got caught up for a second, like damn, %50 of people died before age 30? ….. then I realized I’m listening to a wolf in sheep’s clothing 😅. Joking but not really. I like both these guys. Im subscribed to Hasan. But I don’t believe we came from nothing. A big bang 😂😂😂…
IF THEY MAKE ‘EM LIKE THEY MAKE MAH’ PRINTERS, I’LL BE STARTING FIRES ! :)))))))))))))) jkjk
