Tim Walz and JD Vance have faced off in their only vice-presidential debate of the US election.
Tuesday night’s debate saw heated moments discussing 6 January, one muted microphone and a few tense moments.
But it also saw candidates tackle questions on immigration, abortion rights and election integrity.

If I was American, I wouldve properly abstained from voting but leaned Dems as I prefer Bernie Sanders to the lot of them but I got to say, Vance won that debate, he was very articulate and well-spoken and while I support the Democrat social and environmental policies more, certain aspects of Republican fiscal and their foreign policies are not bad.
Trump 2024!!
Vance definitely put up a more polished and smooth performance but equally he bent the truth and lied to a greater extent than walz did. So it depends what you mean by ‘win’ I suppose. They both had gaffes (walz misspeaking about school shooters and vance’s very awkward lack of answer when asked about the 2020 election). It felt more like a normal, relatively civilised debate though which was nice – makes a change to how things seem to have become.
It takes some doing but they actually managed to find someone more stupid than Cackling Kamla as a running mate.
Bravo!
Vance!!!
