Why doesn’t anyone talk about how the person with cPTSD affects their family? And the fact the person often has been abused by someone outside the family?

Being raised by a narcissistic “family” where you are the scapegoat drastically increases your chances of having cptsd.

If you feel exhausted all the time might be worth checking chonic fatigue syndrome as its common to have with cptsd, remember you arent lazy you have to put in more effort to do general day to day things so dont conpare your own ability to those who dont have cptsd.

Ptsd is essentially a brain injury and with cptsd being much worse the damage done to your brain is even more so. Be kind to yourself in the same way you would be kind to someone who shows a physical disability.

Be patient and give yourself the time and love you need.

(Psilocybin treatment works wonders for ptsd/cptsd but consult a medical professional first)
