Another good candidate from the Philippines is *Pablo Cardinal David.* He was a staunch critic of the war on drugs of the former president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte (who is now jailed in the ICC). It was a bloody war that merely targeted the poor. He is not afraid to call out abuses by the government.
