As the world tuned into the famous Olympic Games, many were struck by the blatant blasphemy on display. In a world heading towards decay, we must remember that the Gospel is our only hope. Until we reach our final destination, we will continue to spread the good news we have received. Ordained by God, our team comprising of E.Z. Zwayne, Mark Spence, and Oscar Navarro was in Paris and used this as an opportunity to share God’s truth in the streets of Paris, France.

I have a separate thought on this, so many of those people have worked so very hard years and years of hard work to make it to the Olympics so that you could see how well they perform and represent their countries.
I respect anyone’s wishes to not watch. I want to see the young people and the older ones who have worked so hard I can put aside the assault on Jesus because it’s always been that way
Jesus knew he would be rejected, and he knows that people are going to mock him, but if you were Christian and a believer, then you also know that he is the final winner of the race.
I see the mockery and it disgusted me, but I’m not gonna let them win and take away my enjoyment of watching the Olympics.

As a Christian, I don’t care what religion you are but making fun of a religious belief is so disrespectful and insulting towards the people who are part of that religion.
This was a representation of the very famous painting “The Feast of the Gods”, held in Paris. All the Greek gods celebrating the wedding of Thetis and Peleus. The blue guy is Dionysus, the fat woman is Apollo. Based on Ovids book, and ancient Roman writer who didn’t even know who Jesus or what Christianity would be. Everything to do with the ancient games and nothing to do with the Last Supper.
I agree that we’ve become desensitized to blasphemy. How else would people be indignant about blasphemy in the form of depicting a portrait that itself is blasphemous for its violation of the 2nd commandment?
My other comment is this. I dont find it blasphemous in a sense where they really mocked the real Jesus? Because no where in scripture are we to put a sun behind Christ head in any picture, then we’re not to even make a picture of Jesus any way. Now i know the last supper happened but there wasnt a sun behind His head and he doesnt look like any picture thats been painted of Him

My other comment is this, i can appreciate women beauty and even being a man i can appreciate mens beauty, because i know what im looking at. But what i cant appreciate is the blurring of the lines of the 2 genders thats confusion
As Christians, we should have no part in any of it. 70% Of the GDP is consumer spending, we put our money where our faith is.

Jesus is Lord!!! Let’s honor Him and not watch the Olympics. It’s disgusting and disturbing this kind of behavior. This was well thought out, they had months to plan this and they didn’t retract. If I go out right now to the streets dress with the nazi uniform and saluting, but proclaiming is just art lol, are people going to really buy it???? They have already made mockery with the rainbow the beautiful creation of God and now this, disgusting 🤮!!!!
