Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket with 20 second-generation Starlink internet satellites. Liftoff from pad 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for Sunday, November 17, at 9:53 p.m. PDT (12:53 a.m. EDT, 0553 UTC). The first-stage booster, making its 20th flight, will land on the drone ship ‘Of Course I Still Love You’ about eight and a half minutes into the flight.
The Starlink 9-9 mission includes 13 satellites capable of providing direct to cellphone services. Once it leaves the pad, the Falcon 9 rocket will fly in a southeasterly trajectory.
Our live coverage with commentary from Will Robinson-Smith will begin about 30 minutes before launch.
