We attempted to make a massive chocolate chip cookie with a cement mixer.
First, we had to melt 24 sticks of butter.
I like to use a blow torch for this, it’s way faster than the microwave. Every kitchen should have one.
We mixed in one full hard hat of sugar and another of brown sugar.
Next up- we added 2 dozen eggs.
I had no idea if this would work or not, but the cement mixer actually did a really good job.
Some vanilla extract I brought from home.
Salt, baking soda, baking powder and then three bags of flour.
Finally, it was time to shovel in the chocolate chips- 5 full scoops in all.
Once everything was mixed up, I shoveled out the dough onto our giant four-foot aluminum pan.
Because it was so big I had to flatten it out a little.
Every company has one employee that’s super picky, and we’ve got one that won’t eat chocolate. So, we had to make a section without it for him.
Next, we popped it into our jobsite oven that’s heated by charcoal.
About 15 minutes later this bad boy was ready to eat – it looked and smelled amazing. I couldn’t wait to try it.
It ended more like a brownie than a cookie. And after demanding a piece without chocolate- the New Guy only drank milk.
Let me know in the comments -what should we cook next? @hausplans

How about a giant jobsite pumpkin pie? It’d be perfect for the season
In our country we use jcb
first we added a leathal amount of butter
Cooking a cookie with charcoal sounds like it would make a smokey flavored cookie. Seems weird but I’d try it.
