I dont think de dollarisation can happen at all.its just a wishful thinking atleast in this century..
1)our whole economy except china cant survive without dollar,there will be economy crush,And super hyper inflation all over the world.
2) if we have to a common currency that is not dollar ,what will it be? Its not like china and Russia will agree to use ruppee and and India will not use chinese currency because if they do India will become part of china,And even if they create a new currency they have to back it up with something to give it a value,what will it be? Gold? Thats too expensive? And that will cause Gold hoarding and also if its Oil,Saudi will have the upper hand in it.
3) country such as India wont be able to survive because,if India push that policy ,US will pull out all its investment as well as its ally like Korea,Japan and many others coutries if that Happens.
4)We will be restricted with no allies.If any thing happens between china and India we will have no Ally to help india
China has alternatives for all of those
@mrpablomx but why is world not using them as they will be definitely cheaper than US.. India should start thinking on building alternatives for those and be self sufficient

Before saying anything about de dollar speak how dollar because Dollar
