OMG here we go again. Players don’t speak their minds, except to try and shame those who want to get compensated, and rightly so. I mean you guys have so much money now that you have lost touch with reality. Has anyone ever asked why Tiger or Rory never took appearance fees to play in events? Oh wait they did. I wonder why, since you both, along with bonehead Chamblee, think no one else rates it? Is the PGA Tour a for profit business?? Come on guys grow up!! You have no right to chime in on someone’s decision based on what’s best for themselves. Last time I looked they are independent contractors. We all know the golf channel, along with some brainwashed tour players is in bed with the tour and will only report from a point of view that, quite frankly, is pathetic and self serving. I guess you think your viewers are morons huh. I guess you think we thought the PGA tour participated in the Ryder Cup for only pride, AND NEVER PROFITED, but we know you did on every single one held. You can’t twist the facts and do damage control on this situation any more than you did when it came to the LIV tour, especially with your lap dog hack named Chamblee. Times they are a changing fellas, and it’s going to get even more splintered with other tours popping up. Your monopoly and manipulation of the facts has left the station. One week every two years to “work” for free is not a tragic thing for these well compensated golfers. Show your fans you value something besides more money. Show that you have some pride in the honor of representing home soil. Nice to see the Eruro’s figure this out years ago, maybe we can learn something from them? Yeah, I doubt it too.
