This is more of an evolution of music video rather than any actual ranking. I only put a maximum of two songs per artist per year (which wouldn’t be worth mentioning if it weren’t for Michael Jackson in 1983) and artists can only have a song at number one once.
I’ve been wanting to make this since late last year but I thought I’d just wait for 2023 to have enough songs instead. I didn’t put “Hey Ya!” in the video because of copyright, although, all of my videos that were blocked because of Outkast songs have now been unblocked so I might start putting them in videos again.
Also I accidentally deleted my thumbnail template so thumbnails might look slightly different in future videos. I think it’s almost perfectly recreated though. I’ll definitely keep a backup this time.
