I feel most of these were obvious. However, what was the RED BOOK Glenda held up in the POPULAR scene? I think it quickly shows the cover, and then she opened it to a page with a man’s face drawn/illustration??? If anyone could help I would be so thankful— as this is really puzzling me!
In the book, Galinda has a chaperone named Ama Clutch and if you look under Galinda’s name when looking at room assignments, Ama clutch’s name is right there under hers. Also in that scene, the dorm mother calls elphabas situation a gulch, a reference to the witch’s human persona in the 1930s film, ms. Gulch
