Crazy to think I cut a few of these bats ends off to use the endcaps to make hot mens slowpitch softball bats. Been doing it for years with my pops with the old 90s demarinis, eastons, mikens, etc. Was pretty cool.
Bro suing the STORE that sold the bat is next level. I get the grief and the trauma and wanting retribution, but don’t sue the mom and pop sporting goods store (potentially, for all I know it was freaking Galyan’s but still). It’s not like they are responsible for the bat. For all they knew it was just another dang metal bat among literally dozens. I mean my folks owned a sporting goods store in the early 2000s (it was attached to their skating rink but was still a full functioning sports shop) and I specifically remember them selling these bats. In fact bats were the money makers in addition to making jerseys for all the local little league teams. The number of bats we sold in the little shop was crazy. Along with hockey sticks cuz hockey was getting massively popular in Dallas right after the stars won the cup.. there’s absolutely no way my parents would have know to educate anyone on any bat unless they saw it in the news or got a special notice from the manufacturer. So annoying when people get sue hungry.. they don’t stop to consider the repercussions of their actions and who is ACTUALLY at fault. How could the store have possibly prevented this? And if they were successful, did the store close? Did they ruin lives? Because a manufacturer didn’t adequately warn / educate on their own bats? If the manufacturer didn’t place sufficient warnings then the store couldn’t possibly have known to educate.
I doubt they managed to keep the store in the lawsuit but still they had no right suing them. The manufacturer? Sure. The league? But not the dang store.
Just when I thought I couldn’t respect baseball any less, lol. Great video, though.
No one wants to watch games that end 1-0. Anything that increases runs is good with me

Over 20 runs scored in one game? Now thats a game I would watch. Baseball is extremely boring.
