In 1986, William Reece was convicted of the kidnapping and sexual assault of two female victims – and sentence to 25 years imprisonment. Just 11 years later, an appeal saw him released early… and now free to commit a series of rapes and murders.
In this episode, the mother and a friend of one of his victims relives the agonizing wait for justice to be served for her murdered daughter. We also see interrogation footage of Reece using carefully worded confessions in a supposed bid to minimize his punishment when the net started to close in.
