Last season, Mike Woodson failed to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time as the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers. Coincidentally, Woodson hit the Transfer Portal HARD this offseason, adding Oumar Ballo and Myles Rice to the fold. Can the Hoosiers bounce back into the NCAA Tournament, or will the lack of perimeter shooting and a soft schedule doom them to the NIT for the second straight year?

The schedule is to game the NET. Iowa St and other schools have been doing this in recent years because it’s a flawed. You shouldn’t care about the schedule if you win those games handily.
Also not mentioning Gonzaga was done in bad faith. Good job there.
Don’t understand the consistent success argument either because 2 years ago, with a team less talented and had less depth than this years team, finished T2nd in conference while winning 8 of 9 during a stretch. 11/15 to finish conference play??
Very poor breakdown by Matt
Matt is a condescending “expert“ I have no issues with the analysis this year, but his attitude towards fans is terrible. I hate to even leave a comment, but wanted other fans to know you are not alone in your dislike of his delivery style. Last CBS podcast I watch this year. I will give it a try next year.
Maybe your fanbase sucks?

Maybe, I’ve only personally met a few of the fans and they all seem fairly respectable. Norlander comes off very unprofessional for working at a major network. I get the podcast is supposed to be lighthearted, but he just comes across as mean and almost vindictive. It feels like he has a personal grudge against them. This of course, is his prerogative. I just had better things to do than listen to it. I hope your day as been great.
They had worse shooting last year than this year. Our shooters last year were Mgbako and Trey Galloway, with a lack of gaurds. And they finished 6th in the Big Ten and went 19-14 and 10-10 in the big ten.
Does Norlander know how the NET works
Near sighted Norlander
