The series stars Sophie in the iconic role of the world-famous archaeologist and adventurer, bringing a fresh twist to Lara Croft’s legendary look. The project is led by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, best known for ‘Fleabag,’ who serves as creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner. Sophie isn’t the first Hollywood actress to portray Lara Croft. Angelina Jolie famously starred in two film adaptations in 2001 and 2003, while Alicia Vikander took on the role in a 2018 reboot.
