Greenbrier County, West Virginia is noted for having one of the most extensive cave systems in all of Appalachia, and for years, the locals have reported the presence of a humanlike creature that shelters in these caves during the harsh winters. The AIMS team heads to southeast West Virginia to separate fact from fiction. The team sets a complex system of snare traps underground and tracks the 500-pound Cave Creature through the 20-mile Blood Run cave system. After making eye contact with the creature and fighting through treacherous terrain, the team has no choice but to retreat from this illusive figure.
