I just think the information environment is so bad right now. It is dizzying. I have always felt that the lying when you have a large audience will eventually erode away any credibility you have, but to watch that be proven wrong again and again is pretty unpleasant.
if u want artists i heard a lot of them moved to bluesky after some AI related policy change
You feel how I felt when I quit Facebook in 2015 and Instagram in 2020 in height of Covid, quarantined, and nothing to do. You think about all the things you are going to miss but eventually, you get used to it.

Nazi were socialistic
It’s strange how Musk wasn’t outraged by the President of France appointing a right-wing prime minister when the left-wing group of parties (NFP) won the most seats. He didn’t think this was a case of the ‘dictatorial right’, apparently.
1: The “Fact Check” is fundamentally false. The Atlantic, the liberal media, and liberals in general, regularly compare Trump to Hitler. Final conclusion: Elon was correct, Hank is lying.
2: The “Fact Check” is mixed, true and false. Raising the debt ceiling is always an *option* that the government could simply choose to not do, and instead, cut wasteful spending. It is a lie that “outstanding payments were paid.” Whether Biden’s intention behind raising the debt ceiling was to make the economy look better than it is would be entirely speculation. Final conclusion: Elon may or may not have been correct, but Hank is, in fact, lying.
3: The Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 was, indeed, effectively repealed by the Smith–Mundt Modernization Act of 2012. Examples of such propaganda are Radio Free Europe. Radio Liberty, Voice of America, and Radio Farda, who spread misinformation and lies to whip up artificial support for coups and social/legislative change in countries targeted by Israel and NATO. Whether said propaganda is available “by request only” is fundamentally irrelevant, because American media would all simply choose to air it anyway. Furthermore, the Community Note itself admits that government propaganda is indeed being used on American citizens, “in the age of the internet.” If the law was irrelevant, why repeal it? Final conclusion: Elon was correct, Hank is, yet again, lying.
4: “Nazi” is a slur from the late 19th century used to target and otherize poor, rural Germans. The slur was brought back by the media in the 20th century to, again, target and otherize poor Germans, who were the main voting base for the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. They did not use “socialist” as part of their propaganda; the economic policies of the NSDAP were very pro-worker, high-tariff, anti-immigration, and populist. Unions in Nazi Germany were not “brutalized”, they were nationalized, strengthened, and given more bargaining power than they had ever had. Final conclusion: Elon was correct, although the point he is making is dishonest; Hank is, yet again, lying.
5: Hank projects intentionality onto Elon that clearly isn’t there, and proceeds to “debunk” said strawman.
6: FPO won the election. However, the other parties, including nominally “conservative” parties, undemocratically came to a mutual agreement to effectively deny the results of the election and lock the FPO out of power, similar to what was done in France multiple times in recent history. In 2022, the conservative Ensemble party coalitioned with radical liberal parties to lock National Rally out of government, even though they nominally are supposed to be closer politically to RN. In 2024, many legislative seats would have gone to three-candidate second-round elections; Ensemble and NFP again collaborated undemocratically, strategically choosing to force their own candidates to resign, and shift votes to the other. Final conclusion: Elon was correct, Hank is, yet again, lying.
Hm, intesting (insert elon musk voice)
