FX’s limited series Say Nothing is a gripping story of murder and memory in Northern Ireland during The Troubles. The 9-episode series is based on the book by Patrick Radden Keefe. Spanning four decades, the series opens with the shocking disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of ten who was abducted from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again.

Why is everyone complaining about the humour. People had a sort of black humour back then, even in the worst of times, some would crack a funny joke, or one liner.
The troubles were just another part of ‘normal’ everyday life you lived with, humour, light, or dark did help get you through a wee bit
great book, great show. recommend givin em both a look see
This truly was one of the best series in years!
Not a patch on the book in my opinion. Lots of loose ends and details left out plus facts changed to suit a narrative. Watch it yes but take it with a pince of salt. Read the book also and read Voices from the grave by Ed Moloney.
