When a company gets too big they start hiring people who don’t care about the brand or customers (mostly c-level higher ups) that drive the company to the ground. These are the people responsible for unnecessary layoffs, poor business decisions, half baked features and buggy products, shady business practices..etc. These people usually just jump to the next company with a pay rise and 0 repercussions once the brand is ruined. These people should honestly be sued and jailed.
Samsung is a unique case where their higher ups were so greedy, dodgy, deluded and dimwitted that they were ACTUALLY jailed, but mostly because of corruption and tax evasion. They could have easily walked away with bags of money like most c-levels.
Yes, I can feel it whenever visiting their stores. They just felt different.
