1. As soon as you tell me that homelander graped by mom, I would immediately stop seeing him as my father, it was really not a good move to lay the whole being a weapon on him, it’s not like that would be happening anytime soon anyways, why tell him everything now, just slowly get him to see the reality of things while he is in your care? But homelander victimizing the one person in his life that meant everything to him, I’m surprised that did not have more of an effect, but to be fair he didn’t really have time to process any of that, and that’s on Mallory

2. Mallory forcing ryan after butcher saying “i ain’t gonna stop you” didn’t helped the situation. It made him doubt Butcher’s honesty too considering his relationship with butcher was shaky. And there is Homelander saying he’s not gonna tell him what to do while open-up about his past. Same reason made ryan liked his father also later on made him go to Butcher and then ran away from them too.

   I hope ryan doesn’t choose any sides but his own.

3. Straight up, even though they have had interesting “Homelander esk” moments of Ryan, his arc is so obviously going towards being a good person. For him to kill her isn’t exactly out of character as it definitely wasn’t on purpose, but for him to not care is just weird especially after the past 2 episodes

They fumbled hard imo with this,he was ready to be swayed then they went all aggro on him”you got to kill your father and we dont give you a choice”..if they were just letting him go and think i think he would have come back eventually.Grace was about to attack him so he defended himself?Wtf did they expect??

5. All tough I understand that Ryan got bombarded with bombshell after bombshell,

   him not even giving any reaction to killing the closest thing after Becca to a loving parent just makes me question the writing.

   Yes Mallory wants Ryan to kill homelander for selfish reasons but at the same time she’s seen literally her whole life burned away (no pun intended) to a supe, she knows the outcomes to what this power does and its impact on the people around it.

   Yet he kills her
   Gives no elaboration
   And just leaves

   Meanwhile a couple episodes earlier he was remorseful for killing some random dude on the street.

8. I don’t like this scene, and not just because Mallory dies. It’s because it’s out of character for Mallory to carelessly dump all of that on Ryan at once, and for Ryan to kill her and not seem to care.

9. Imagine how funny it would’ve been if Kessler went “OW” when Ryan sat on him

10. I think by the time Ryan realizes what a monster his father truly is, it’d be too late. Unfortunately, I think somebody significant would have died before Ryan completely turns on Homelander.

16. Hope Mavae gets pregnant with Butchers baby after their night together.. I feel Butcher deserves a happy ending after all the sht he been through 😢

17. In a single scene, Butcher had the misguided revelation that “all supes are the same” and Ryan had a similar misguided revelation that all-non supes are the same. The difference is Ryan can probably still come back, but Butcher might be one of the main antagonists of season 5.
