Drones have been used extensively by both Ukrainian and Russian militiaries, changing the way war is being fought.
But the BBC has heard eyewitness testimony and seen credible evidence that suggests Russia is also using drones against civilians in the front-line city of Kherson.
Ukraine says that in just three months, there has been a surge in drone attacks on civilians in the southern Kherson region, where at least 30 people have been killed.
Since its full-scale invasion in February 2022, Russia has consistently denied deliberately targeting civilians.

なぜウクライナは降伏しないのでしょうか?
Ryssia, get out of Urkraine. Go back to your own home.
Putin’s Russian drones hunting are individual Ukrainian citizens. Will a temporary peace treaty stop Putin or the next dictator stop the hunting of civilians of Ukraine or other targeted nations? Does such treaties encourage the hunting of civilians of other nations? What does history tell us? Ukraine civilians were targeted after Chechyna and Georgia civilians were hunted and killed. While Putin’s forces attacked and killed Syrian civilians, with the approval of the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, in Aleppo, Palmyra and other Syrian cities. Should the world let Putin slaughter civilian until he gets comfortable enough to believe he can use nuclear weapons without retribution? When did letting a sociopath get away with murder not encourage him to kill more people?
