You can buy one that plugs into the wall cuz i dont have a doorbell and it powers it that way and is clear
Out of curiosity, can you add the power kit that comes with the Pro version to the non-pro version and get your existing chime to work? I can’t find info of anyone attempting that.
Unfortunately no the doorbell itself dosent actually put a dead short on the doorbell wire as it dosent have a small lithium battery inside to retain the power to the doorbell as if you press the ring pro if it’s wired in paraell it cuts out the wired
this video was perfect. saw the wired on amazon for 45 bucks vs the pro which was 300. was curious to why the price was so different. thanks!

The ring wired is more of a budget doorbell compared to the ring wired plus(formerly ring pro)
