Great quick review 👍
Does it detects humans & then automatically zoom in & records ID snaps? Love to hear back soon.
I had my house pre wired for security cameras when I built it. This is exactly what I was looking for.
That makes it nice! I’ll be doing the same one day when I finally get the opportunity to build. Can’t wait!
Thanks’
U talk fast😅
yes I do. hard habit to break
Slow down mate take a breath
Can barley make out what you saying
He’s speaking great, and I’m grateful for his speed, so he’s not wasting our time. The problem is not on his end.
I have same cameras but I can’t view my cameras, away from home…. Why is that ?
If I’m home I can see the cameras on WiFi with the Mobil app
There is a setting not enabled in your NVR is my first guess. My guess is P2P is probably disabled. If you are not very familiar with the settings I would recommend giving tech support a call to see if they can walk you through it.
Talk too fast. 👎👎👎
Hard habit to break but working on it. In the meantime the playback speed function can be pretty helpful
I’ve been looking at the 16 channel so that I cab have 8 running at full resolution 24 / 7 (they suggested to me as I only will really need 8, but, having the beefier 16 channel ports CAN be expanded, but, if I only have 1/2 load that would work to have thenm all full res. But, it’s been a while since this video came out – how o you like it now?
My Rj45 connections turned green and failed because moisture does get in, had to clean up and pack with copious amounts of dielectric grease
Yes that can be an issue especially when you have a high moisture in the area. Glad to see you got it fixed though!
So these are a 24/7 recording?
Yes as long as it has storage available. It can be set to always delete the oldest footage so you don’t run out of space though
Here’s the 4-camera setup I used in this video:
Reolink 4K Security Camera System (4-Cam Kit): https://geni.us/iFQeO
Easy to install, clear video quality, and a great option for home, shop, or farm security monitoring.
Helpful
Thank you
Glad I could help!

My camera is being hacked will it help if i purchase this or will it still be able to hack
Anything that’s on a network connection can be hacked. If you do not have this hooked up to the network then it technically is closed loop. It will record straight to your hard drive on the NVR. You will have to pull footage using a physical connection and a monitor or tv though if you go this route.
I don’t understand the issue everyone saying your speaking to fast. I understood every word. Thanks for the video.
I appreciate the support!
We’re in south dakota, with 50+mph winds and -40F or lower temps, been looking for a poe security system. thanks for this review.
What metal bracket did you use to mount ? Did you buy long piece and just cut them into small pieces ?
Some Amazon comments state the wiring is cheap and has narrow vision. There were other issues which any company will have but this only got a 4.4 rating. How do you respond?
Well to be honest find me anything on Amazon that has a ton of reviews and doesn’t have some sort of bad feedback. 😂 you can’t make everyone happy. To me a 4.4 star review is pretty stellar.
To answer your questions though the field of view is a bit narrow but not the worst I’ve played with either. Could also be better. The wiring felt like any other wiring that’s been sent in a kit. I personally used my own box of Cat6 cable. Only had a few hiccups in the system that a reset has taken care of for me each time.
@HandyHomesteadReviewsFair enough. Thank you
Do the cameras get power from the cat-5 cables? Or do you need a separate cable for power for each camera?
They are POE which is power over Ethernet. They get their power from the NVR which is fed to the camera over the cat5 cable you run.
