sing sing was an incredible film and i’m so happy it’s finding success
I love these round table talks and to hear from female producers is even more interesting to watch and listen. I feel as if I were there and part of that table wanting to contribute and ask questions however have no experience and don’t know what to ask nor where to begin. I feel like I need to make sure I watch every single production of each and every one of the producers at this round table to then come back and rewatch to have better insight of what was said. The minds behind exceptional works of art that was transformed from pen and paper to filmography and production really blows my mind. The level of intellect and powerful conversation topics is really mind boggling and entertaining to place ourselves to think in these producers point of views.
Lucy Fisher responding to Tessa talking about how they have a commitment in the UK to funding film with “we have guns instead” gagged me haha, she seems very real and cool (and aware of the current realities facing emerging producers and directors).
