Attention all tourist. This is how it goes cause NYC got a bit for everyone
If your someone who likes that EDM shit, stay in midtown where the tourist usually visit (marquee for example), but get ready to pay big bucks
If you want the best bar hoping experience, head to the lower east side (avenue A and the delancy area)
Also Williamsburg, Brooklyn is a fun area to bar hop as well.
If you want a mix of urban music (hiphop,Latin,dancehall,african), Astoria,Queens is the best place for that. Usually free entrance and hookah in almost every spot on the strip
If you want only/mostly Spanish music, you got two places.
Washington heights/Inwood which is mostly Dominicans & Jackson heights queens, which is mostly northern South Americans. Most are free entrance and hookah in both locations, but be careful in the Dominican area as shit pops off over there.
Stay away from the Bronx unless you’re trying to risk your life.
