From Phillips H. Lord’s popular NBC radio series comes an intriguing “legal film noir” filled with double-crosses and unusual twists–starting in the opening reel when a woman is slain in her apartment to an escaped killer, and the paper prints that the alive-and-well girlfriend (Marguerite Chapman) of a local crime boss was the victim!

Good movie.
Marguerite Chapman was hotter than a firecracker. I can see why Howard Hughes signed her up. Too bad he never made the movie he was planning for her.
Hated it !!
Really good, thank you.
Glad you liked it!
I swear that guy, Dennis O’Keefe’s voice is dead-on Chuck Connors!! If this were a radio show instead of a movie, you wouldn’t be able to tell whose voice you were hearing!! The lead character lives up to the D.A.’s assessment as a guy w/ethics, but he sure has terrible taste in women!!
