Why do so many of you try to provoke the spirits for a response? My loved ones – mother, sister, husband – would not deserve to be treated that way. I believe when our loved ones pass, their spirits remain and are able to be with us. But, even before my husband passed away, we talked about IF he could communicate, then there is a specific way to do so. And has done so.
My daughter is in college studying mortuary science because she has a desire to care for the mortal body that has recently separated from the eternal soul. In her many opportunities to transport these bodies to mortuaries or to the cemetery, she speaks of having the sense that the spirit watches over the body until it is finally laid to rest. She wants them to be pleased with her work, as they are not a mere corpse to be quickly embalmed or cremated. I can’t imagine anyone treating these spirits she speaks about as things to be taunted or mocked.
Should you wish to speak with those who passed on, or exist in a different realm, or whatever you believe – I doubt they would like to be treated the way ya’ll do. My mother would be devastated if she came to someone, she would be devastated if they were frightened. She is a kind and caring soul. I would be hurt if someone mocked my dear husband or sweet mother in an attempt to force them to communicate. Remember that these were real people who lived real lives. They were sons & daughters, mothers & fathers, husbands & wives, infants & teens. In life they were teachers, doctors, farmers, advocates, librarians, etc. If you pause and listen, they might have wisdom and comfort to share.
I believe TAPs is the gold standard for paranormal investigations as they neither run away screaming nor do they provoke for response. Amy Bruni is one of those who continues to respectfully investigate in the same manner, as are several others. My loved ones would be far more likely to speak with those who respectfully want to listen to them.
Thats only my opinion, of course.
